The corrosion of the front engine casing seems to be a common problem. Mine has paint peeling and oxidation. Has anyone come up with a good rectification for this issue?
I was thinking of rubbing it down with wire wool and spraying it with high temp satin black and a coating of high temp lacquer.
I’ve seen one painted with hammerite and that works well. i haven’t done anything with mine, paint is mostly peeled off, also peels off the rocker covers and the bevel box, seems they just sprayed them with no primer
