OK at 26,000 miles my bevel-box has started leaking.
Unfortunately it is from the mainseal not the centre seal or the breather.
It was only filled with 160ml oil (just drained a total of 140ml)
Has anyone here replaced the main seal and shimmed the bevels?
I would like to do it myself but…can it be done without the special tools?
I have a bench, a 4" engineers vice and both puller, levers, hammers and cunning
