V85TT cylinder head protection

V85TT cylinder head protection-what steps has anyone taken to protect the cylinders in the event if a fall ?..l recollect in the 1980s there was a bolt on addition available…comments gratefully received

I fitted SW Motech Engine Bars. Easily fitted following their instructions and have proved their worth after a slow speed off. Very embarrassing

I went for engine bars that came in a close matching red from Italy (isotta i think)

i have the stock moto guzzi engine bars. I’ve had 4 drops, 2 off road, 2 on road, once on ice in winter which scraped the bars, no damage to heads at all.

I had similar bars on my T3, seems now an alloy plate is available. Of course panniers help to avoid damage to the heads…
I too would like some chrome bars as in the LeMans picture.

Theses are the items l had in mind..are they available for the V85 ?
