I like moto guzzis…BUT; the usb socket fitted to this bike is quite ridiculous. 1, wired through the ignition ? So any device has to be exposed while being charged & the ignition needs to be left on if charging on arrival at ones destination…?
2. The majority of charging cables do not have a positive locking into their device and hence become disconnected when the bike is in motion .Why oh why did the guzzi people arrange it this way. Totally impracticable. I will upload my solutions…
Fitting a smaller screen gave me access to the dashboard covers. 12v power socket wired directly…so now l have a versatile facility ; Air compressor for tyre/airbed inflation…device charging whilst stationary without constant ignition drain. Seperately Fused im hoping it will prove itself in the long term…
