Totally useless. Does nothing as far as I can tell.
Various internet searches have led me to believe it is not particularly effective. I went down the route of fitting the Aprilia Capnord mudguard with a Fenda Extenda; mind you there isn’t huge clearance with that combination if you intend to ride off-road.
even with this some crud still flies up whenever you are anything other than straight ahead, because it flings out the sides a bit as you steer.
does help a bit though

Maybe wait for the new V85 Strada and see if the mudguard lower from this new bike will fit yours?
