V85tt perfect Sunday Antrim Coast Road

Decided to go for a run up to the north coast of our wee island, the north of Ireland. Leaving Royal Hillsborough at 11 am I headed north on minor roads. Randalstown , Portglenone, Kilrea, Coleraine came and went. From there I headed to the Bishops road at Downhill, often only single track but rewards with spectacular views of Magilligan and Donegal . Lunch at Magilligan point beside the ferry and home via the Antrim Coast Road or “Causeway Coastal Route” the highlight of which was the deserted Torr Road, narrow, twisty and slow but with stunning scenery, you could almost touch Scotlands Mull of Kintyre.

Having visited your fine island, I am off the opinion that you have nicked all the best scenery from us !!
my wife and my sister in laws family come from there, Co Westmeath, and Cavan
never ridden the bike over there, but might make it later on

Yes we are spoiled rotten here, love it!

I saw this rally on Flickr, looks amazing, nice mix of motorcycles and scenery, and the craic looks good

been to torr point a few times, that road can be quite challenging on a heavy bike in the rain lol
