Chaps
I bought this bike just a month ago! After purchase I nipped over to my local Guzzi dealer to get Service items, and lo and behold, I find myself lured to a brand new one! I like the bike so much, I’m planning to buy a brand new one! So in chatting to the Dealer, he offered me £7k as a trade-in, with the farkles removed. I figured if someone wants it for a fab price of £7700, including the farkles, we both get a great deal…
The bike:
25 month old V85TT, first registered 2nd Aug 2019
12k miles
1 owner before me
Service History:
800m - First dealer Service
3050m - Engine, gearbox and bevel box oil replaced.
3250m - Valve clearance checked - none adjusted.
6100m - Engine, gearbox and bevel box oil replaced along with airfilter.
7350M - Recall work by main Dealer - Additional seal to bevel box, replace indicators, cable guide & footpeg circlips.
9350m - Replace engine oil. Valve clearance checked - none adjusted.
12,200 - Oil and Filter (Motul 7100 10W60) just this month
No MOT needed until August 2022
Tyres are Conti Trail Attack 3 - probably the best possible tyre, almost as new
2nd Key, all books and receipts available, V5 in my name. No outstanding finance. I have a 1 month old (clear) HPI check from when I bought the bike which I can send by email.
Looking for £7700 as above. This is the cheapest V85TT on the market today. No haggling as I will just strip the farkles and trade with the dealer as discussed…
The essential Farkles (which most owners would buy anyway):
- Brand new Pyramid Hugger and Fenda Extenda
Caponard front Mudguard
Cyclops LED lights connected by Skene IQ-275 LED Dimmer (so they are 20% when engine running, and 100% when on full beam)
Engine Protection Bars
Barkbuster Storm
Centre Stand
Wiring for GPS (I will be keeping my GPS and mount)
It has sockets for heated gloves on the bars
Exhaust header nuts replaced with stainless domed as per the new model
(I will be keeping the tail pack in the photos)
I took a ride into the Lake District this morning, and took these photos of a slightly dusty bike in Glenridding:
The overall condition is excellent. No corrosion to the front of the engine. There’s a couple of age related marks, the worst being a scrape on the left side exhaust cover but it’s not seen under normal circumstances (the previous owned laid it down in a manoeuvring incident, the engine bars did their job and no further damage).
Bike is at LA5 0TG (North West England). Delivery may be negotiated. email knottmd@outlook.com
It’s ready to go!
