Hi. Noticed oil on rear rim this week. Contacted 2 North West dealers to see if they could take a look. No available slots till Sept! Anyway have found an independent who can take a look early July. Not sure how much I’ve lost so drained it. Got 150 ml out and refilled with 135ml which seems to be the correct quantity after a forum search. Lead time an issue across the industry I guess.
I’d ride her and keep a close eye? Possible it’s been overfilled? Just weeping. Be curious if it quits?
Just back from an hour on the bike all looks good. I know the previous owner who purchased it new, and never touched the bevel box oil, so if overfilled must have left the factory like that.

Is the vent blocked causing a pressure build up? I assume ithe rubber plug on the top of the drive unit acts as a vent? I’ve never checked mine.
I used to put 180ml of oil in my drive box but now put 160ml, after 38000 miles no leaks, probably given it a death wish now and will start weeping oil next time out.
