V85TT Wheel replacement

Hi all,
I have a 2020 V85TT and am thinking of retro fitting the tubless wheels from the 2021 model on to mine. I’ve got a quote from Guzzi for the replacement wheels but I’ve no idea if they are going to be a straght replacement.
Has anyone done something similar and are they a straight replacement ?

I would be most grateful for any guidance

Hi smartr,
According to the V85 FB group the tubeless wheels do fit, but you need the spoke cover (well that’s what I’m calling it). Item 20.

Has anybody noticed any noise difference after getting a tyre changed and could this be due to a part removed from the wheel?
My 2021 now had an annoying whine/drone at speed that wasn’t there for the first 8k on original tyres. Dealer has checked it and can’t find anything unsafe but it is quite annoying. It’s not audible at low speed but over 40 or 50 gets progressively louder to the point it’s louder than the gearbox whine.

there is quite a bit about whine from Michelin Anakee tires I noticed this a little when I got the bike with around 1K miles. changed the rear recently and its a bit louder particularly when cornering. I think its something to do with harmonics from the Block(ish) tread pattern

I had Dunlop trailsmart max on and they were great, very stable in the wet. The replacement Dunlop meridian are definitely not as good. Less tread on them new, and not as good in the wet. The traction control regularly has to kick in now and I often feel the back sliding out a bit on corners if it’s wet weather. really don’t like them.
