Looking for an Eldorado at the moment. Searching to see if there’s a suitable bike available in Blighty, before casting the net wider…
Anyone know of anything,?

Hi, did you have any joy with this and what is your budget
Regards
Steve
Thanks for getting back Steve but now on the back burner…I’m just divesting myself of a nice Ducati 900Ssie (2002) when that has gone, I’m in the market again…looking around 8 1/2…?
Someone on eBay is selling a 1974 850GT.
There’s also a rather pricey Ambassador…
Wow - for THAT price I would want the screen, bags, the cop who rode it and the rights to the tune as well !!!
Great seeing guzzis in that film, although they used different bikes for the scene at the end on the ship (triumphs maybe?).
Music used to be so much better in films ![]()
When your ready give me a shout.
I have a a 1970 Ambassador that I may be letting go.
If you pass a email address I’ll send you some pics
Regards
Steve
Are you still looking?
what a beauty
Still trying to find a new home for the 900SS. Market has seemingly collapsed. Biding my time…
If you are still looking, there’s a 750 Ambassador project on ebay.
Hi Don
Thx for remembering me….just bought 1980 LM2 with 8100 on the clock.. Now restoring that over the winter.
Cheers

Very nice
That looks very tidy, it doesn’t look like it needs much restoration.
this is very very nice
i didnt realise the bodywork around the heads had a flat area going inwards to the engine.
the first “big" bike I was on was a LM2, the experience at 18yo marked me for life
but it had the side panels removed, so my memory of them never included that part.
no other bike in between has ever felt the same, cali comes close, so does a V85, but not quite
Those flat bits are wings to deflect the wind, designed in the Mandello wind tunnel, as seen here where they follow on with the Mk 3 Le-Mans
