As title, 2012 Stelvio 1200, new to me. The heated grip on the throttle side has packed up with a bad connection just where the cable comes into the moulding for the throttle cables. I’ve by-passed the earth wire for now and it works but not sure on the durability of my soldering inside the grip. Long term fix needed, and I can’t see how an Oxford heated grips can fit over either the heated element or over the non-heated throttle tube (which I also have).
Whatchya got?
have you considered bar heaters? I only found out these exist recently myself.
Can’t say I’ve heard of them either. A very quick google (1page) doesn’t bring up anything specific either. Is there a specific product?
shows how to adapt them for oversized bars, she doesnt give a link to the heaters themseves bit seems they are a thing for standard bars
“I use the Polly Heater brand and while the company does not wholesale to motorbike companies, they are available on eBay by searching for “Polly Heater”.”
