The weekday ride for June is on Monday, June 17th - heading into darkest Lancashire - so remember your passports ! Gerard is organising and leading the ride and has booked a table for the end of the ride - so if you could let me know if you’re going I’ll pass the numbers on to Gerard.
Details are as follows;
Meet at Cafe Ambio, Junction 36 at 10am for a 10.30 departure.
1, cafe ambio near jn36 to Kirby Lonsdale A65
2, Right onto B6254
3, left following signs to Halton (road veers right and left turn is effectively straight on)
4, Follow Road to roundabout and take first exit (effectively a U turn)
5, Follow Road through Halton and Crook of the Lune picnic area and left onto A683
6, Right as entering Caton following signs for Quernmore
7, At quernmore T junction turn left and follow signs for Dunsop bridge
8, Left at Dunsop bridge following signs for Slaidburn
9, Left at Slaidburn following signs for High Bentham (stone cross at junction)
10, Left at High Bentham following B6480 down to A683
11, Right at crook of lune picnic signs and back down to Halton roundabout but then heading to Slyne and ultimately The Hest Bank pub on the canal at Hest Bank
