Fools Gold Ride.
Costa Carlisle CA3 0GW 09.30 - Leave 10.00
M6 North then A75 towards Dumfries
Turn onto A76 to Glasgow turn off just before Mennock
onto B797 to Wanlockhead through the Mennock Pass
Keep an eye out out for people panning for gold
Visit Lead Mining Museum visitor centre
Lunch at Wanlockhead Inn (Highest Pub in Scotland)
PM Ride
B797 to Leadhills and turn onto B7040 to Elvanfoot
Turn onto A702 to Durisdeer and then rejoin A76 to Dumfries Cuckoo Bridge Tesco Petrol
Return to Costa at Carlisle
