Meet The Nook Cafe Alston 0930 for 1000 Start
B6277 towards Barnard Castle for 16.5 miles - Turn left on unnumbered road signposted to St Johns Chapel
Turn Left on A689 for 0.9 miles to unnumbered road on right signposted New House
After 5.9 miles turn right at T junction and then first left signposted Blanchland
After 5 miles turn right at T junction signposted Stanhope 8 miles
Turn right at T junction on A689 signposted Alston then immediate left onto B6278 Barnard Castle for 8 miles
Turn right at unnumbered road signposted Middleton in Teesdale 5 miles
Turn left then first right on to B6277 signposted Scotch Corner to junction with A66. 12 miles
TAKE CARE YOU WILL NOW BE CROSSING THE A66 FAST TRAFFIC
Turn left and then 100 m immediate right into filter lane to Cross Lanes Farm Shop and CAFE for LUNCH

Turn left on A66 then first left signposted Scargill and Reeth on Stang Lane for 8 miles
Turn right at T junction signposted Tan Hill 8 miles
After Tan Hill turn left signposted Keld 4.5 miles
At T junction turn left on B6270 signposted Keld and then on to Thwaite 3 miles
On exiting Thwaite turn right on unnumbered road signposted Hawes 6 miles
At T junction turn left then 200m first right to Hawes 1 mile.
Distance from Alston 110 miles, PETROL STOP, if required
Hawes to Ingleton 17 miles
Ingleton to Cafe Ambio M6 Junct 36. 29 Miles
