What did you do with your Guzzi today ? 2017 .......

Showing your age and good taste.

Fell off mine…

Fell off mine…

Can I point out that as neither RG or myself sport porn star 'taches or wear Sons of Dipstick on the back of our leathers, these pints were fresh orange juice and RG paid for both rounds.

I hope you are OK, after all at our age we need to be careful.
Much damage to the bike?

Crap! :astonished:

Gravel was it?

Bike doesn’t look too bad, hope you are OK.

Ordered my clutch cable from Gutsibits yesterday.
On my bench today.

Poor you. Did you bounce? And was someone taking more than their fair share of road?Hope your bank ac doesn’t suffer too much. Buy you some medicine at Lydney.
All the best. Maggi

Hope your ok Kate :astonished:

Both bike n rider unscathed…was doin the recce for my VMCC ride last sunday. I like to make it like a mini road trial…we have water crossings and lots of lanes with grass growin up the middle.
Crossed a mid lane mud bar whilst thinking about something else and met meself comin back.
The Beetle was wallowing round on his crash bar in the middle of the lane…I adopted the Lois Price method of pickin him up…few scratches on crash bar.
Carried on with recce…paying more attention…

Alas…not comin to Lydney…at Manx next week…

Glad you’re OK, enjoy the Manx.
You will of course be missed.

Popped over to Bridlington for Breakfast.

Ta duckie…x

Today, Thursday, the original forecast was to be p!ssing down, but fortunately it turned out to be a perfect day, dry, blue skies, fluffy clouds, not hot, not cold, an ideal bike riding day.

Leaving Chippenham via the B roads thru Chipping Sodbury, Yate, and Alveston, here approaching Aust and the old Severn bridge on the B4461, the bridge towers are on the horizon in the middle of the picture.

The never dull B4325 between Chepstow and Usk.

The equally interesting B4598 between Usk and Abergavenny. Here beside the river.

At the Steel Horse cafe at Llanvihangel Gobion.

The charming B4521 between Abergavenny and Ross. Leafy lanes and vistas aplenty. Lots of tight bends to keep you alert. Got a feeling last time I did this road might’ve been over 20 years ago.

Now in Welland, nr Malvern enjoying a Pioneer ale and a sandwich.

Mike, are you turning round and coming back down to the Guzzi Festival tomorrow?

Found out that when the levers on the fuel taps point down I am already on reserve :open_mouth:

Opps

Took my wheels and fork legs over to Redditch for powder coating. Horrible trip with roadworks all over the place and loads of traffic on roads that I was not familiar with, didn’t help myself by leaving the directions i had written down in front of the computer :unamused: Only got lost once though, should be easier when I take the frame and collect the wheels.

Nice to see you enjoying that combo Miko…
