Stripped top of carbs. Newly bought milatery 500. Slides were in back to front. Choke had no free play so may have been partially open. One choke had no seal on housing. Will order new plungers and seal and will try a rebuild next weekend.

Took the Cali out for a run around the back lanes today with the Northampton section of the VMCC. A bit chilly, it certainly blew the cobwebs away.
