Oh well. I get a lift in on icy days and on those days I miss the ride in.But it is only 4.8 miles and I work in an office of sorts so have no problem with getting changed. If I owned a car it might be different but those Morgan Trikes are a bit beyond me.
Rolled the Spada out the workshop to stop it getting splattered in alluminium chippings that are flying off the milling machine (Got some castings to machine) and aslo wheeled the trailer tent out and sold it now its going to get towed behind a couple of classic MINi s
then put the guzzi back in soaking wet Hmmm better AC50 those discs they are going rusty
(I dont do RUST)
Relieved to get the Frost’s POR15 sealer in the tank of my Spada/G5 project.
Anxiety was due to the fact that tank is newly painted and I was so worried about sticky finger marks or worse still dropping it as I swilled the gloop around inside it, but all went well.
Normally I would have done the sealer first, then got the tank painted, but having to get a dent pulled out meant it would have been a big delay doing it that way.
Just maybe, it will be running next week.
Booked my 1100 Sport in for a MOT and my Caponord as well. Tis that time of year.Contemplated the fact that one of my Brembos is sticking on the Lemon, but that was as far as I got…
My daughter was sacked for that reason, she was so much better at the job than others, she was able to show it could be done part time, so they sacked her and gave it to someone else. She works for herself now.I’m currently overhauling the brakes on the V50.

To slightly misquote Tom Holt (You don’t have to be evil to work here, but it helps).Management unpleasantness is not caused by malignancy, but by mediocracy.I am reasonably cedrtain your daughter is happier now.
Saw a nice cafe racer near Jermyn St (just off Picadilly) this morning, definitely a Tonti, with maybe a V75 tank and homemade flyscreen. Looked nice, cool but still practical; I may have to rethink my plans for the Lemon…
Got ticket to France for Brion do in July, stainless bedpan ready for oil change, just waiting for rain to stop. Was it last June that was the wettest on record?G.
June 2006; it rained heavily and non-stop from Guildford to Mugello
Borrowed 'er indoors’s T3c and gave it a good seeing to, over to fellow club member Mick to continue working on clutch/UJ/various seals replacement on his '67 V7 700. Stopped early when we realised that 4 gear 'boxes use smaller ex.di release bearings than later 'boxes…that’s back to bearing factors then… Given utterly shagged nature of chain on Morini and leaking head gasket on Eldo, permission has been granted to use her Cali this w/e, watching choo-choos at North Yorks Moors Rly…well, I am the one who services it!!
fingers crossed for you.I was late today got out at 430am for a ride before work on the 1100 ,dont think debs is to happy about this but dry and clear roads are getting hard to come by
Oy Mr Padgett, what about yer lemon ?

Took a couple of photographs of the T3 for insurance valuation purposes and then replaced the tank rubbers with the bits I bought from Gutsibits yesterday. Found one of the lower ones was hanging off, the nut at the back having disappeared. Ordered an assortment of 300 cadmium plated nuts, bolts and washers over the Internet to replace the rest as they unwind themselves and fall off. Rang up Gutsibits for more rubber bits and other odds and ends. Ordered a Britool metric socket set. Contemplated whether its possible to remove the front mudguard without taking off the front wheel. Looking forward to taking the old girl to Settle at the weekend.
Bit depressing for me this post, I looked at both my Guzzis as I walked through my garage. This has been all I’ve done for six weeks now since I had a rotator cuff repair operation on my right shoulder. However my physio tells me there’s light at the end of the tunnel, and I may be able to drive in a few weeks, I hope that means riding as well…
Sorry I missed seeing the T3 Monday night at the Brown Cow, hope to pop into Settle this weekend, not 100% sure due to personal reasons. if I make it I will be on my 750Breva as my “getting my T3 back on the road” is on hold at the moment, if I make Settle it will be Saturday afternoon.
Fair question kate - tendonititus (“tennis elbow”) makes LM too painful to ride, despite fitting adj clip-ons…it may have to go…
Shame I will miss settle as I am off to Germany.Be nice to see BB on a proper bike.Want some panniers for it Bob?
