Nice pic :+1:

Not what I’ve done with mine, but popped into a dealer in California for a wander. Nice T3-esque paint on the Gardia d’onore, and the V7 Special was quite tasteful too…
And I guess it wouldn’t be an authentic Guzzi dealer without at least one bike in bits

Went for a ride over Horwich way and popped into Rivington Barn for a snack…Alas I was told no sausage rolls or anything hot to takeaway. So made do with a cappuccino which was nice but cost £3.30…I still live in 1975 world so I’m still in shock!!! Sorry no pics but you can’t take a pic of a missing sausage roll. Haha!

Well, I last rode my Breva to and from the Lord mayors show last November ,down the big smoke, sadly a puncture ended my journey home early and Tony from TB motorcycles recovered me, and sorted out the puncture, I picked it up a few days later and rode home, since then its been parked up as I have been in no state to ride it
we have had a few busy days with lots of little visitors, so in between feeding kids lots of sweets, and doing a little job on my brothers old heap, I topped up the Brevas tank with fresh fuel and some injector cleaner, and tried the starter button, after a year not expecting much, but second press and it burst into life and settled down to a nice steady idle
Yay
hopefully in the spring I can put it back on the road
although my Brother rides some old pile of junk, he has a new V85 on Order, and a V35 TT which is soon to be given a full overhaul by a well known restorer

Well done Raphael. Was it the power of the Tardis that upgraded the BMW into a Moto Guzzi??

Nah that old pile of junk is my brothers !!!, it was owned by some middle aged idiot who thought he was a mechanic, tried to flog it at a big auction, no one wanted it
my brother purchased it cheaply, but pretty much everything was wrong with it !!!
he did have a modern BMW GS, but that got nicked at 3 am from outside his house, given its reliability record, no bad thing, perhaps the dealers paid the kids to nick it :grinning:
but the V85 is en route from Mandello as we speak, and the Tutto Terreno is winging its way to a well respected technician, who also sorted out my Breva for me many years ago

me I am sticking with the Breva, when the Doc says it ok I will be back on and exploring the UK, not ridden it much here, mainly across Europe
I might turn up to Chemo one day in Leathers, that will shock them !!

Yesterday I fitted Oxford HotGrips to my Stone. This is a step toward using the bike a little more rather that putting it on a SORN for five months of the year. Has anyone used grip puppies over hot grips? A will the heat pass through the puppies or will the grips overheat and burn out?

Hi Brockett. The puppies are fine. I’ve had them on BMW factory grips and also Oxford and never an issue with overheating etc.

Thanks for that - my geriatric hands needs a fatter grip for comfort

Tidied up the dash area - very pleased with the result.
IMHO it has more of a classic Guzzi look… and now i can reach the ignition key.

Popped to squires for an afternoon coffee in the bright autumn sun, winter gloves on for the first time. Jolly hour out and now back home and time to walk Rosie the labrador :slightly_smiling_face::dog:
As a side note, maybe because its chilly out she ran like a pig at slow speeds, but it is what it is and i will live with it for now.
