Will Replacement Front Springs do the job

Hi All
I have a 2022 MG V7 850 Special - had it for 6 months now and love my first MG.
I have noticed the front seems to “sag” (dip) quiet a bit. I am around 85-90kgs but get the impression, either the springs need replacing or upgrading. I did a search but can only seem to find subject on shocks being replaced. This is the first bike I have had without being able to adjust the front forks. I am on a tight budget hence just looking at replacing the springs. Any tips or feedback if you have done this (and can it be done by someone with little skills) would be really appreciated.
Cheers

Your ‘rider sag’ (amount suspension used when you are sitting on it full kitted) should be 25-30% of full suspension travel.
If it is already about that you may need more compression damping.

If your rider sag is more than 30% Hyperpro YSS and others do spring kits https://webshop-hyperpro.com/product/fork-spring-kit-moto-guzzi-v7-ii-iii-stone-special-racer/and your weight is around normal but it would be nice to find a manufacturer who recommends

Hi, I own a 2023 V7 Stone and fully winter kitted weigh a lot more than you. There is quite a bit of sag in the front forks, which is even more apparent on the Stone, with its folk gaiters. That said, despite looking alarmingly compressed from the off, I have never had problems, even when riding in a spirited manner on some pretty terrible roads. They would probably be improved with the addition of a better spring kit but I personally don’t consider it essential, unlike the rear shocks, which I have swapped for Hagons. Maybe give it a few more miles before deciding.

Hi 350lcjohnny
Appreciate the reply and link for the spring kit. I will have a look at the actual movement and try and workout the % travel.

Hi Grey_Mountain
I know what you mean about the actual riding experience - in general its fine. Maybe not being used to non-adjustable forks, I am being a bit cautious. Definitely will give it a few more miles to get used to it. Spring is round the corner.
Thanks for the feed back
