Hi, I appreciate there’s a lot of oil pressure posts online already and I think I’ve read all of them (pinky promise) but I’m still getting nowhere with my 1200 sport 2v)
I have dsb08 on the dash, but not dsb07. Getting 55-60psi of pressure. I have continuity on the wire from the sensor end to the dash plug, with no continuity to earth. Although not a proper test, I’ve also done the cocktail stick test on the sensor and it appears to be working.
Am I right in saying that with the sensor disconnected, I should see Dsb07 too? And if it doesn’t show, that would indicate a faulty dash? I’ve also tried connecting the sensor wire to earth with and without the bike running.
I recently had the dashboard repaired as it had gone a bit rotten inside, causing a turn indicator issue. My thinking is that this may be another dashboard error.
(Also unsure if this is relevant but the external air temp sensor says it’s getting on for 30 degrees, but I live in the UK
