Moto Guzzi Sightings

Ok thanks.

A couple of days ago what looked like a 1200 Sport with full panniers eastbound on the M62. A rather Guzzi number plate I recall. The day after a black/red V7 out towards Thirsk.

Griso riding east away from Kielder water around 12:15

Nice Griso 1200SE at The Swettenam Arms (near Congleton, Cheshire) bike night on Thursday.

Just got back from a (4-wheeled) holiday in Cornwall, saw a white V7 Classic at the top of zig-zag hill on Friday 4th and a nice black T3 (Cali?) at the Calstock bike show on Sunday.

Classic bike meet at Langford Museum of Power in Essex - lots of great bikes and several Guzzis parked up - red Griso, Breva 750, V7 Special, 2 V7 II’s plus an old classic single.
Passed another Stelvio by Hanningfield reservoir on way to show.
Also a raffle to win a Moto Strada Bellagio which looked great - draw takes place ar Copdock Bike show on 1st October

Something with a Red Tank heading North on the A6 near Kibworth Beauchamp. I was in the car heading South.

Oafski What are you doing on my patch! I live in Market Harborough.
That could have been Dean Coxson from Desborough on his Le-Mans 5.

Spotted a nice Silver Norge 2 up in Oundle this afternoon. Nice cheery wave as I was just getting a solderless nipple fitted to the Bonneville clutch cable by the very nice man from the AA :astonished:

Dark red T3 or could have been a G5 or convert, heading South down the Fosse Way near Offchurch in Warwickshire this afternoon. I was heading tother way on the Bonnie

Red v50 mk2 and a white V65 at swainby classic show yesterday…

T3 Cali with only 550 miles from new was in for a MOT at my local bike workshop this morning. Apparently according to the file of old MOTs mileage is genuine!

seems like a bit of a waste, I really don’t get it. I think I have done about 550 miles this week!

One of the silver tanked V7 racers coming out of Alexandra road in Frome this morning. I was going past on the Norge.
Also a tidy looking Nevada outside the garage in Shrewton this evening as I went past.

Also saw two Stelvios going the other way on the Motorway today. So 4 in one day.

I suspect it’s new owner will use it rather more than it has been in the past. He does keep all his bikes (and he’s got a few) ready to use which is why it was getting a MOT.

Annoyingly clean looking black Griso at the Ponderosa cafe in Horseshoe Pass yesterday. All laden down with touring gear too. And what looked like a silver Audace waiting to join the A5. Nodded but he didn’t respond: may it rain a plague of frogs on his next journey.

.

Two in convoy on the A36 Warminster bypass on Sunday. Looked like a blue Nevada at the front, and something like a V75 Strada in green behind. Looked like the one on the front of Gambo recently. I was going the other way in my car having decided the weather around Luton was going to be horrible and therefore not taking the bike to the airport after all. Overall was a good decision as it was hammering it down when I got there, and also when I got back.
