Nice bikes. I can see it would be hard saying goodbye to the sport. Welcome to the club.

Yes I’m sure some day we will do. MG or BMW or whatever my 3rd bike will be .

Lovely to see so many up at Monyash today, I wasnt expecting any other Guzzis there. Lovely chatting with some of you (Sorry I forget names easily). I was on a bit or a route so only stayed for a coffee, and a peek at all the Guzzis. Hope to see you all again soon. Katie

I’m often up around Monyash / Matlock / Buxton on various Guzzi,s as I’m just down the road near Ilkeston
How are you finding the V85 after a 1200 Sport?
Do you miss the torque of the big block Guzzi? Here’s my Greenie V11 at Matlock Bath

V85 is fine, the 1200 was epic but I needed to get rid of my tigersport so PX that and the Guzzi for the V85. I have an S1000XR in the garage s well and not much room for playing with them. V85 is great fun and needs more awareness overtaking than the 1200 which was quick. I think Arnolds still have it up for sale? I did +1500 miles on it in the year I had it (one of 3 bikes and the least used…). If I have a bigger garage and more cash I would have kept her. Never missed a beat and the Italian Pipe on her (Map had been updated to sope) sounded gorgeous. I changed all the oils filters (in tank as well) and put an inline connector on the fuel pipe. Your bike looks lovely. Often get coffee at the coffee kiosk next to that pic.

I used to have a Tigersport a few years ago, a good all round bike but a little lacking in character. If you do decide to get another big block Guzzi, try a Griso 1200 8V. Same motor as the 1200 Sport, but a little more “sporty” in its handling. I’ve had mine for 9 years and will never sell it. Another “sporty” big block worth exploring is a late V11 LeMans special edition with Ohlins, such as the Rosso/Nero Corsa. Last of the old school “raw” sporty Guzzi’s. Enjoy your V85TT, they have received good reviews and everyone I know who’s purchased one rates them highly, and if you see a big block Guzzi parked near the coffee hut in the Matlock carpark, it’s probably mine as I’m often there at weekends. Here’s my Rosso Corsa, and V11 Sport

Yes sure. I love to talk bikes and can do forever. You bike look lovely. Im just a little different and some are put off chatting to me but no one should be really. Yes I’d love another big block again and Griso would be good but I’m hankering over building something again. Although I’m a bit old for cafe racer… let’s see. Off to Donny, Triumph and beyond tomorrow (I’m leading a back road ‘pootle’ lol) with my Curvy Riders group. Take care out there.

Bikes early 2022

Nice collection. I have a bit of a soft spot for Triumph triples, but currently too many Guzzi’s to find space for another Triumph

MT01 & silver V11 Sport

Yes MT01 lovely. So I’m told. Lots of nice bikes so chat soon as engineer at heart

Great bikes. Enjoy the TT, did you happen to read the ‘Adventure’ bike review in Bike mag. To me, being completely inpartial of course, it seemed that the TT is the thinking mans ‘Adventure’ bike.

Too many Guzzis? What a bazaar concept.

Welcome to the club, and don’t forget to put your lovelies in our Virtual Garage.

Is that because you’ve got to sell one or two?

:grinning:

That is one gorgeous Guzzi! Never seen anything like it and the colour scheme is fabulous!

Oh and this one appeared in the Garage before winter and Ive put OEM silencers back on it as the Leo Vinci high level titanium pipes were too loud (they are for sale with link pipes) with or without DB killers (GPR silencer on the V85tt now)
