The neutral warning light flashes on/off after roughly 30 miles of riding which ever gear is engaged.
It goes off when gear is changed up or down but then comes on again.
The neutral sensor is at the end of the gearbox and seems to be inaccessible

Any ideas upon what the fault maybe, how to fix it and how to access the neutral sensor

To make sure it is a fault with the switch rather than the wiring, try disconnecting the switch wire on the gearbox, tape it up and take it out for ride. If it keeps on doing it, the fault is in the wiring. If that stops it, then it will probably need adjusting (bending) Not sure about the Norge, but on the older bikes, it is just behind the starter motor.
thanks I found the switch under the airbox at the rear of the gearbox, I checked the wiring and the removed switch I “borrowed” thwe switch from the nevada which is propping up the corner of the garage awaiting rewiring it is exactly the same size and thread as the one from the Norge, 100 miles later it appears to be working well
We all love a happy ending
