T5 Charging Troubles

I never said that Shaun, read my comment again…

Sorry Al, but you put I expect to ride a bike with no maintenance, which amounts to the same as neglect in my book…

Oh well not too worry, it’ll be in Paul’s mitts soon anyway, then I’ll ride it onto the ground…

Jeez, I give up…

Fer what its worth Shaun…I dont think any slight was intended here…x

Al, blimey… :astonished:

Don’t give up, keep trying, you’ll win through in the end, that’s what I’m doing with these bloody bikes of mine. It’s a struggle but it’ll be worth it, you see…

Later reply due to buggering off for a bit of R&R…

Really want to know why this doesn’t want to work so it had better come back with a full report!

Worry NOT Mike, I’ll be on here as soon as it’s up and running…

It’s GOT to be a wiring fault, all the other bits have been swapped out for known working bits, it’ll be on the road just in time for the ice and snow. Or if I’m REALLY lucky, the drunks as they leave their office Christmas parties… :unamused:

Either way, the bike won’t be worked on until AFTER the 5th November, most appropriate don’t ya think, up in a cloud of smoke, just in time for Guy Fawkes…

Light up the sky with a flaring Guzzi, please do remember, the 5th of November…

bloody £400 a day

Towzer did the whole spada rewire inc alarm and remote start - no key for £475

Thanks for telling me that, I feel SO much better now… :imp:

I’m sure I’ll be ripped off again before I kick the bucket, can’t know everything in life, and there’s always a better option AFTER the event…

But it was worth every penny, it stopped the wife worrying that the T5 would burst into flames, as I kipped in me lorry in France. Remember I got the Ferret, due to the garage being full of smoke, as the sparks jumped out of the wires, after going to Scotland in the Monsoon season…

Any progress to report? I’m fascinated. And why is this post blue??

Shaun must have posted else where, Thunderbird Five firing on all, two, cylinders and last heard was all systems go!

My apologies, I THOUGHT I posted the end of this Saga… :unamused:

Well in desperation I took the bike to Paul over at Corsa, and he found a connector under the dashboard, that was full of fur, then there was a short somewhere, and another dodgy wire somewhere else. Sorry can’t remember the finer details, just happy the bikes up and running, and with me new electronic ignition fitted it’s running beautifully…

Shame Corsa has closed, seems the T5 did their head in so much, they don’t want to work on it again… :astonished: It took Paul four days to sort out, so not as easy as it seems…
