What did you do with your Guzzi today ? 2017 .......

Glad you seem to be mending well Jim. 7 pints should help with the sleeping and laying on your stomach would reduce any snoring. Hope to see you at Bristol anyway.
Cheers. Maggi n Phil

Got round to fitting the crash bars today, and then offered up the fairing so I could sort out the front indicator wiring. Sadly the fairing touches the bars on moderate lock so they’ll have to come off for the moment.

I will be there anyway, will go in the car if I am not confident on the bike, so catch up then.
Just spent the afternoon strimming and mowing the 1 month meadow in the back garden and now everything hurts. probably need to be a bit realistic about what my body can do for a while yet

Not a good day in the garage. However, now got a clearer comprehension of things going forward.

Guy and I took Eldo and the Beetle to a little Classic thingy at the Harrington Arms…Bosley…lovely road…that Leek to Macc…then had fish n peas in Montys in Leek…this afternoon we have been working on a customers Cali…

After being made redundant, finding new work and having another grandchild arrive a couple of weeks back I finally feel I have the time to reunite again with the Breva 1100. Spent the weekend over in Yorkshire (Market Weighton), over to York Sunday and then a nice return today via Harrogate and Skipton.

All I can say is ‘I fucking love my Guzzi’…and nice to be able to say that again

Hiya Lucifer…glad yer enjoyin yer bike…

Hiya Lucifer…glad yer enjoyin yer bike…

Indeed and always

Went for a 70 mile ride for a cup of tea and to pick up a pint of milk … as you do :sunglasses: :sunglasses:

Like our man Satan, the more I ride this B11 the more I like it - especially now it has the Helibars fitted

Helibars eh? Sounds like Satan might like them too

Unfortunately not. The one thing I would love on my Breva is straight bars but the tank doesn’t allow for them.

I wouldn’t mind a few more bars in Hell though

I might be able to help my devilish mate.
There is in my garage a pair of 1200 Sport risers that I got in error that I’d be open to offers on if that would help you

Tris

Will they fit the Breva 1100?

Had a look in Gutsibits and can’t see any risers which fit both the 1100 and the Sports 1200

They do, see here http://wildguzzi.com/forum/index.php?topic=73812.0;nowap

You wont see them listed I would guess because they were never a MG option for the B11, but the top yoke on both bikes were the same

I wanted to bring the bars up and back, but the combination of 1200S risers and Aprilia Mana bars (already sold) took the grips down and forwards - or completely the opposite way for me

I fitted the risers/bars to my bike, but I never got as far as fully fitting everything properly as I spotted my “fau pas” PDQ

Once you have the 1200S risers fitted then you have a choice of tubular bars, the beauty of the Mana bars though is that all the B11 controls (including the bar end weights if you have the screw in adaptors) fit.

You might need to check brake/throttle/clutch connection lengths but I think that they will be OK

If you’re interested feel fee to PM me

Got my Imola through MOT today with no advisories  so off to BIAMF on Saturday

Yook ours to club meet at the Hollybush…good turnout and night…

Cracking run out to the Staffordshire Branch ‘away’ meet last night. Met up with Kate & Guy, Ranton Rambler, Sutty, John Hooper, Clive Yates and a host of others.
Good turnout, great banter and a great selection of bikes.
Plans hatched for a possible run to Bristol on Saturday (6am start!) and definite visits to Stafford Show.
3 Loops, Griso, Norge, LM1, EV and a couple of hybrids from Sutty and myself.
Interesting ride home when I realised that my headlight was better at illuminating the front wheel than the road ahead. Adjustment time!
Will post photos later.
Have fun
Steve

Denford?

Nice spot if you’re in the area
