What did you do with your Guzzi Today? 2023...

Fitted a Power Bronze touring screen hoping for better weather protection. Needs to be tested yet.

this looks the same as the MG touring screen, is there any difference?

Spent the weekend with Team Guzzi at Stafford Show. Busiest I have seen it in many years. Great stand with 18 Guzzis including singles, twins, standard, modified and high mileage examples.
Report from Chris Judd with lots of details and pictures in the Nov/Dec Gambalunga

Took my V11 for the Manx Test (like an MoT). Imported vehicles over a certain age are put through the test before a reg is issued. Was a nice ride into town though the tach needle started swinging wildly. Have to hope that doesn’t matter for the test.

Love it. Loved my yellow one if I could afford it I would have one again as a second bike. Looks like somewhere around the Sennybridge ranges.

On Tuesday I made the most of the last decent weather for a while with a nice ride around Northamptonshire B roads and villages.

I have even making a bit more progress on my Stornello project number 3. This one is almost ready for getting the paperwork done.

Fitted Mk2 sidestand on my SP1000. Mk1 was a modified Guzzibits one but it wasnt strong enough and the leg bent on the way to Mandello. I made this version using a 8mm plate and a modified Honda Pan European stand. Very pleased with it. Strong enough for Le Shuttle (sorry Simon).

Happy to share details if anyone else wants to do something similar.

Inspired. Will be looking at similar for my LMV

I used that road on a V1100 Sport (the daytona type) in 1990 the old roads are well worth investigating and if you are visiting an area much better to see and experience the location. Use a paper map…and look for the wiggly lines…

Hi Harry,
How has your Powerbronze screen worked out. I have a TT85 Travel with the larger screen but I get a lot of buffeting. So I am interested in your verdict.
Hope to hear soon,

So far so good. I’ve found having the screen in it’s tallest position the best so far. The wind hits the very top of my lid, there’s no buffeting but perhaps a little more noise. I don’t normally use ear plugs , but may now consider doing so on longer runs.
I’m approx 5ft 11 and a bit, I’ve a 30-31 inch inside leg, I suppose I might have slightly short legs for my height.

Fired up the little Stornello today. It started third kick and after a bit of fiddling with the carb, it ticked over nicely. There’s a video of it running on the clubs facebook page.
