Yep. County Down roads full of Class 1 potholes. I’ll match you a wrecked tyre, one coilover spring and two ball joints, plus two suspension mounts. Admittedly that was two cars and about five years, but both cars were only four years old when we bought them with fsh. So no ragging.
As for what I did with my Guzzi today: unwrapped the 850-T3 Cali’s engine, admired the fact that it still looks factory-fresh (was vapour-blasted before rebuild) and then wrapped it up again. Also moved a box of Cali 1100ie engine parts that I’d forgotten about. (sigh) One day.
I started today by ordering my new V85TT which should arrive in six weeks. Then did a bit of work (bad times) then rebuilt the front master cylinder and caliper on my V50 and got that ready to ride over the weekend. Then I decided to have a look at the top end rattle on my Suzuki and found a very ruined camshaft (bad times) so I went for a ride on the V50 to cheer me up.
Oohya! SIX weeks to wait. That’s cruel. I’d be a basket case just waiting. I’ll hope for you that it arrives early. Then it’ll be like a winning ticket! Good luck with the Suzi.
Ive got my V50 to keep riding. Im also doing a huge amount of mountain biking at the moment to keep me occupied. I can’t wait for the V85 to arrive but, I hope it’ll come early but im not hopeful.
Ill get in to the Suzuki tomorrow. If the head isn’t damaged then it’ll be ok. If the head is damaged, I have a spare but it needs vapour blasting so it’ll take a while and cost a bit.
And us too. Gusting 60mph 21:00 Sat - 01:00 Sun in the Downpatrick area. Put the wee greenhouse up yesterday to start growing this year’s cucumbers and it’s gonna havta come down again in the next hour or so.
Hi, Once you select the photo it will have a little tick on it. Then look elsewhere on your screen for an upload button or maybe one that says ‘Done’? Are you doing this from your phone or PC?
It is usually a two step processs, selection of the photo then confirmation.
