A bit more tidying on the Colorado beetle…
Steady bimble around some Cheshire/Shropshire back roads before dropping in at the A41 Truckstop for a brew. Unspectacular bikes and some interesting people.
Back to finish the last few bits on the C70 and have a firkle with the NTX.
And tomorrow do something similar
Happy days
Steve
It looks like an Aquila Nera Eldorado now!
Would that be Lynn’s Raven Caff?
That’s the one

Guy returned from work and started to investigate the charging issue on the ’ beetle’…got the nacelle off and found this…
Paint it yellow and black and call it vespa!
Fast becoming the Colorado Bee…
I’m manfully resisting the use of ‘sweet ride’. ‘Honey I shrunk the Bike’, ‘This bike is the Bees Knees’ etc
Steve
Bee off with ya !

Not so many wasp jokes…
Although I’m reading Chris Scott’s account of biking in the 1980s and the term “wop bike” gets used
Good read BTW http://adventuresinmotorcycling.com/ Ducati & Triumph favourites, Guzzi not so much except the V50 gets a thumbs up
Steve
I spent a happy couple of hours polishing Dino within an inch of his life ready for this http://www.lincsaviation.co.uk/events/Special-Events/lanc-tank-and-military-machines.htm tomorrow
Previously known as the Buell and Italian Bike festival but now appears to the Buell and Vincent show

Cleaned it
Rolled Blue out onto the drive whilst Hardley went up on to the table to replaces some ign components and clean out the fuel system. Trying to stop it turning into a single. Apart from then going to Tescies on Hardley I didn’t get to ride a bike all three days of the weekend.
Look who found me wandering around Capesthorne this afternoon. Classics, coffee, ice creams and good company
Couple of interesting things from the show
Maybe scope for adding a few of our bikes next year

Put these bars on! (LSL ‘touring bars’)
… replacing supposedly Spada ones I got from Reboot ~ 'cept they’re different shape compared to the Spada bars from MY Spada… those in front below, Reboot ones at back …
The reboot ones are even more lower and further forward than my Spada’s, no wonder the riding position felt weird and uncomfortable.
My fault for assuming they’d be the same!
went to east Kirkby. the b 17 display was magnificent. I didn,t know a four engine bomber could be so graceful.
