Overtook a line of traffic before joining a turn right lane.Waiting to turn I felt a passing wind, one of the cars had swerved into my lane, presumably to frighten me for overtaking him.Prat.
rode it and had a chat with the owner (hello Ian!) of this very nice black n gold convert…

What is it…?For the love of God, what…?(And welcome!)
Sorry…!!2014 V7 special …
Ooh nice…
I love those V7’s, they are the best looking bikes on the road. The second they make a 1200 8V model I’ll be selling the missus and the dog…
What they need is the Bellagio lump…!
Most of the week, I have been riding the T3 to work, yay
Oh and my nun is on charge
Had a run out for sarahs birthday lunch in the sunshine n the Calli Vintage, had bit of fun with a Ducati away from the lights…scraped the footboards…oops.
Washed Sarahs Breva and removed the old battery…
Started the little TS250 Guzzi…and stopped it again…
Looked over the old Calli Anni we just bought back from the guy who bought it two yrs ago…and felt depressed seeing the Rosso gathering dust under its blanket…
Never thought about it before as it’s something I’ve always done, but does draining the sump when the engine’s hot actually result in more oil coming out? It just occurred to me that if you have left the bike overnight for example, surely as much of the oil that’s sitting above the sump will have trickled down into it.
Which means that I’ve had a lifetime of scalded fingers unnecessarily if there is no difference

Believe me, I’ve emailed Guzzi direct and asked them to do just that! The first time I asked they said there were no plans for a bigger version, the second time I asked they said they could not discuss future models…
Progress is slow with the Le Mans but like British Rail we are getting there…
Love your black and gold LM2 Neil.
Rode to work and happily “got lost” on the way back turning a 18 mile chore into a 50 mile bimble
Rode to work today and discovered that, after 1600 miles, I’ve finally learned how to ride the Stelvio. Had a hoot for all 55 miles, including dancing through the traffic approaching the Blackwall Tunnel.

Took my Breva for its MOT this morning which it passed with no trouble. Was a bit wary as first ride since my op 2 weeks ago, all was good though but may have to go out again this evening just to check!
Been a good day all round as car was in for MOT as well, that passed too.

Loaded the Bella up with a 52 litre Jofama saddle bag, Bagster tank bag, 40 litre dry bag on the rack, filled the lot to the gunwales, then took a 200 mile spin around the Russian countryside to see how she handled that lot on Russian roads. Planning a trip so thought I’d better check; seemed fine. But Russia could use a few more convivial country pubs: like even one would be nice And a lot fewer d*ckheads in Audi/Merc SUVs who think it’s a good idea to tailgate a bike at 150kph
