What did you do with your Guzzi Today? 2023...

A really enjoyable ride this morning, just over 70 miles on various road types. Stopped at the Birth of RADAR Memorial near Towcester.

Thanks, but they are just the standard V7 Stone wheels :slightly_smiling_face:

I also was at Sywell, it was a good turnout. I got flashed by a roadside photographer on the way down through Rutland, however I haven’t yet put my hand in my pocket to buy a photo

So - who was riding a V100 Mandello down Birch Avenue in Blandford St Mary, Dorset, yesterday? Hilary and I were returning from a run on our humble Nevada 750, dodging the parents picking up their kids from the local school, and … a rider on a V100 passed us, not 300 yards from our house! Was it you?

Just got back from Mandello after a great week in Europe that included the A229 and A 500 in Germany, passes in Austria, including the Stelvio pass and also through Switzerland with my good mate Stuffy. Great time had by all.

Having recently (March) had my 37,500 service, and fitted a taller windscreen with Guzzi’s"Winglet" extenders and “Isotta” Handguards, last Friday I had new Front and Rear Tyres (Avon Cobra Chrome again) and today had it fly through the MOT. Thursday I go on the Harwich to The Hoek Ferry overnight, Guzzi Rumble in Tienhoven, Netherlands this weekend and then Copenhagen, Denmark to visit my daughter and then Vianden, Luxembourg with my local IAM Group the following weekend.:grin:

I dropped my Breva off to Tony Botto, for the full treatment

Full service on my breva air filter is a bit of a fiddle but managed to keep all my knuckles intact. All good now except for the annoying little stutter that occurs around 2k revs. I understand they all do it so I’m considering fitting a booster plug in the hope it will iron out the problem.
The old girl runs fine throughout the rest of the rev range. Any one else with the same problem managed to cure it?

Yep, first I made sure that the TPS thingies were balanced, for this I pay some one who knows what they are doing , his digital reader showed everything apple pie, so on his advice I purchased a little bit of technology , and fitted it, ran it around for about 80 miles, stuttering gone, better low speed pull away and fuel economy unaffected

no doubt some one will come along and quote lots of big words and tell me I am wrong !!, but I tend to pay and listen to proffesionals

always works out cheaper in the long run

Lovely ride in the North Yorkshire Moors yesterday with my mate on his Kwak.

Where were the photos taken? Looks like a nice place to visit…

No idea with the scenery ones

Somewhere around Great Ayton, Castleton, Rosedale, Egton, Goathland ish. My mate took me over and around the Moors.

The tearoom is Rosedale Abbey, and the other is Runswick Bay

Thanks…am coming up in September (if my bike is fixed by then…) so will give it a look.

I’d suggest using Thirsk as a base, and then you have the choice of the Moors to the right, or the Dales to the left

Good plan. :+1:
