Took the Stornello out on the Taverners Section of the VMCC tiddler run today. It was in good company with Mick B’s little Galleto. The weather was a lot kinder than the forecast predicted, but we all got a bit damp.

Gave it some new throttle cables. Huge difference, the old ones could have been 47 years old mind.

Nice ride out over the heads of valley rd weather fantastic weather plenty of bikes to wave to back a round the brecon beacons 85 miles no problem on a a1980 t3 callie dont forget more smiles to the miles on a guzzie

Started off in Soldeu Andorra.

Temp gauge was upto 40c but my mate saw 43c on his. Does it go higher?

Took Margarita to see Golden Road, so named because it was so expensive to build. She was most impressed: hours of 3rd gear laffs.

I did the Golden Road some years ago - in the most awful weather, visibility was poor due to the horrible Scottish drizzly rain. Its nice to see what it looks like in good weather

Took the Spada over to Founders day, the annual VMCC classic bike show, the Guzzi club had a good turn out and the weather was a whole lot better than the weatherman said it would be.
