I’m on Vatersay, the smallest inhabited Outer Hebrides island. Great roads, spectacular scenery. I’m very surprised at how few bikes I’ve seen throughout the Western Isles, & haven’t seen a single one on this island. Not one. Until today, when I met what so far is the only other bike on the island. Seriously, what are the odds on it being another Guzzi?

MAG ride out to the Boars Head pub near the Severn bridge . 6 Guzzi’s out of about 20 bikes . Getting more popular than ever . Cheers.

Fitted new spark plugs to my 850 V7, bikes running a treat but may take a while to get over the shock of the price!

Rode to Wigan Motorcycles today to check 'em out. As well as selling Moto Guzzis they sell KTM, Aprilia and Suzuki. They also have a number of used Harleys. There are 3 units on site, inc a cafe which I noticed when leaving. Didnt appear to be busy but it’s early days and I can only wish 'em the best of luck. It’s good to see a new dealership in the Northwest.

Bit of Mistral-ising Buffalo Bella. Sound is so much nicer. Will be leaving the dB killers in as don’t want to annoy the neighbours at 5 o’clock in the morning

Went on the usual Sunday morning breakfast run on Max.
He has had his 6000 mile service at MSC.Brillant customer service. They fitted a set of Road 6s what a difference. The handling is so much better than the standard set. Turns better and gives a lot more feeling.
Number 19 at Calver perfect eggs. Recommended.

Took the Spada out on a ride with The Taverners, the local section of the VMCC. Finished up at the local traction engine club for their open day with tea and cakes.

I took off a rear rack, pillion seat and pillion foot pegs and hanger from my V9 Bobber. Just need some black bolts for rear mudguad and frame where i have remived parts
