Gave the lil’Breva a complete service on Saturday.Fiited a K+N air filter and did the starter relay mod.All of this to the pleasant sound of the rain beating on the garage. In between I cooked myself a very nice roast pork dinner, and got the washing done. Then when all was done filled it up and mindfull of the gvmts warning about fizzy drinks bought 3 cases of beer and a bottle of Laphroaig for being such a good boy.
Mr D…
Had some errands today so took me green un, had a chat with a chap in the bike park on one of them Honda Innova, which I believe are fair little things, all went well with me solicitor and rode home via me dads grave…
And now I’ve just booked it in with Paul Nahulikian (01235 528893) in Stevenage near Didcot to have the origonal seat redone with gel etc and raised 15mm 'cos of my tall in the saddle good looks.I assume you will be at the V Twin Kate.
Fo ’ sure…
Yesterday, rode up to Worksop and came back late via quiet unlit roads. A good opportunity to test the headlamp. Probably needs a slight upwards adjustment, and to be honest it isn’t as bright as the one on the BMW, but it’s adequate. Nice ride.
Took the Lemans to the local meet yesterday evening and met the chap I bought it off, 19 years ago!
Rode the last 200 miles of my 1900 mile round trip to Scotland

Bike tanked up and loaded for the 22:45 ferry to La Belle France, my local filling station is, apparently, 55 miles away by the pretty route. Forecast says thundery showers all weekend, ho hum.Cheers, Gerry.

Nothing to the Guzzi. But did work on the Dommie (Honda) in my speedos whilst my girlfriend did a bit of noody sunbathing beside me. Very distracting indeed !!

Had a great ride on the Centauro through the Durham Dales and then over the tops into Northumberland before heading home. This 99 Centauro only has just over 5K on it from new and i am sure that with every mile it is just getting better and better.Bumped into an old work colleague at a cafe halfway round and then travelled behind him for about 20 miles before we went our seperate ways.On the sweeping country roads that we were using his Honda Blackbird had no real advantage over the old Guzzi and guess which bike attracted the most attention when we were sat having a cuppa.Biggest regret in biking is only discovering Moto Guzzi’s 4 years ago.Over 40 years motorcycling could have been richer
