What did you do with your Guzzi today ? .......

Good jobs going on in the blog, well done. And thanks for the pics, now I know what the "sharks’ gills " are!!!Regards,John

Nothing. But she sits in the shed for my home-coming. The bike that is.

Looking forward to getting acquainted again

You being where at the mo Lucifer ? do tell…

I am in Mexico. It is where I work.

Down to Hatch End on the Breva today using smaller roads, and then back using A5. Out of 6 hours in the saddle, only an hour or so was in the rain. What a privilege to be able to ride a bike like this.

65 miles

And now my head hurts. Helmet seemed to pressing in on me.

Serviced the Falcone Civile and put the tank back on the 750/850s after removing the old sealer and replacing it with “SLOSH” I’m loving the vapours

Yesterday I did a 160 mile round trip on the Breva to hang around at the roadside for 2 and a half hours, buy a 'at, (didn’t wanna be b’aht 'at), for 2 and a half minutes of mayhem! What a great day!

Ah yes…Gulf of…

Dino the Cali and I did 485 (official miles but more when you get lost ) on the 2014 Nation Road Rally

It was a real challenge but a worth while experience

The biggest bit of excitement was being at the Warrington control at 01:00 in the morning when he decided to misbehave and not restart

Happily this was the control run by MGCGB and there were a bunch of like minded idiots ( sorry enthusiasts) around offering support. This ranged from whack it with a hammer to short the starter solenoid out with a coin.

Luckily re-seating the relays cured the issue and I carried on my way

Thanks to all at the control

PS
Don’t go to the Tideswell control in the dark - its a dodgy place to ride too in the dark on your own on tight bendy roads you don’t know so takes LOADS of time
In fact I bailed out of doing that at Buxton and cut back to Ashbourne so ended up with a silver award and not the gold I was aiming for

Removed the front mudguard from my Cali’ 3, to do something about the rust. What a poor design! I thought it had rusted on the top, where damp was trapped. Designed with a hole in the top of the mudguard!!!

I took the camping gear off of Chen after getting back from the Brion rally.Just under the thousand for the weekend. Lovely.

The POR15 rust treatment seems very good, 3 stages to treat the rust. Used it on some rusty bits on the wifes car and it looks pretty tough.

With the V7 Classic in dock the Big Banana is being pressed into domestique duty,
so wound up in a largely-deserted underground NCP today,
good tunes coming from these old pipes
Treated to a perfect emergence into sunshine and transfixed citizens. It’s a looker all right

Managed to avoid a car as it pulled out of its drive, then watched it not quite hit a car coming the other way. Then watched it pull out of a side road causing a pensioner on a push bike to brake hard, before it parked and the driver walked into his work. All of 400 yards journey maximum.Apart from that not much.

T**sser !
the driver not you Eno…

Well, you can’t really expect more from the driver if that’s all the practice he gets.

They are all around us! Never let your guard slip..... If I have a trip where I don't at some point mutter to myself "oh look R-sole alert" it's a good day...

Have a like for that.TBH Kidlington is the largest village in Europe (has an International aiport) so gets its fair share of idiots.

Have been to Kidlington lots, mosttly to Howes Models, (everything for radio control and cheap). Have never noticed an International airport unless you mean that RAF place up the road where the 'erculeses pop in and out.
