For lemon 2, am sure he will ave a look…
yeah, thanks folks have already had communications with the seller, asked him why the tank badge holes had been filled, not a satisfactory reply and at £225 already a bit of a risk i think, slap me down if you think i am wrong
I watched the Italian episode of the Classic Bikes series, mentioned on another thread, which inspired me to go for a run on the Lemans 11, for the second time in three days (must be spring!). Then I prepped the Breva for the Fred Hill run tomorrow (It’s 65 miles to the start, then a 20 mile run, with another 80 miles home).
Be sure to come back and tell us about it…
How desperate. Only 300 EurosLeMans 2 tank
It looks identical to the 1000S tank, though it doesn’t help much as there’s not many of those about either.
Thanks Don that looks fire damaged wish i could speak italian, not any other pics to see the underside, tank badges or decals ?
Please, don’t even consider it at that price. As soon as one person does, it makes life a nightmare for everyone else.
True,true.

Thats the Indian repop… £322 from India + £80 p&p not in my budget by all accounts the dimensions are questionable.
Nice work great minds, already contacted the seller he wants to let it run its course, rather tasty though.
Well I went to the Bath and West show at Shepton Mallet - in part to get some bits for my T3 from Reboot Guzzi. I’d phoned him before as had several other people. Turns out he decided that it was going to rain so sacked it and went home yesterday. An inconvenience for me but rather worse for the guy who had paid him for stuff he was going to collect. Apparently this is his normal behaviour!BondEquipe2014-02-09 20:18:39
It was nice and sunny, when I walked the dogs.
Setting off on the Breva I lovingly polished, only yesterday, it began to rain. Dodging a dead deer in the road, I carried on regardless, in the safe and sure knowledge that things would improve (the weatherman said).
Sixty miles later, no improvement and feeling chilled, I knew there’d be the chance of a warm fire and a cuppa at Squire’s caff. A mile from my goal, a blue flashing light on a police vehicle blocked my way. Memories came back from fifty years ago, as a car had flipped on the very same S-bend that caught me out, on my Norton 350, as a reckless youth!
Anyway, after about ten minutes, I was waved through and got to the warm fire and cuppa, with a hot pasty as a bonus. A good turn out and an enjoyable Fred Hill tribute ride to the Sun Inn, not far from the Golf Balls that sit beside the A59. I followed a yellow trike, whose booming boom-box matched it’s twin skull exhaust outlets!
The ride home, with sunshine and a tail wind was everything the weatherman promised.
The dead deer had disappeared, in somebody’s freezer, perhaps?rumbled2014-02-09 20:49:21
I went to get the breva out for my ride down to Oxford
trouble is the gas/electricity/Bt/water/sewer people have dug up most of the road, I did not fancy taking the bike across that mud and wobbly plates, and sinking ground
luckily i had left the car a few blocks away

Sunshine and a tailwind…I reckon Fred would have been happy with that…

seems a very strange way to conduct business, unless some personal problem came up ???
He’s based in France now. I’d imagine it’s an expensive business shifting stock across the channel, perhaps he thought he’d end up running at a loss.
Talking of taking a hit, I’ve bailed out of work for the day; the Thames is in flood round my area and I’m pretty sure we’re gonna get our feet wet at some point today, so thought I’d stay at home and welcome the water into the house…Well, can’t see a way to stop it, frankly.
